Jin yin hua - Flos Lonicerae
Used to removing heat and toxic substance, dysentery. Frequent use of its decoction for removing toxin, heat from blood and arresting diarrhea.

Lian Qiao - Fructus Forsythiae
Clears heat and toxin, nodules. Expels externally contracted wind heat as in common cold.

Yellow Dock - Radix Rumicis
The roots of yellow dock are harvested in Spring and Fall. The roots stimulate liver bile, clear toxins, and are used for chronic skin disorders. They treat acne, psoriasis and constipation.

Zhi zi - Fructus Gardenia Jasminoidis
It increases production of bile that in turn helps liver functions. It produces relaxation effects on the central nervous system and has the ability to lower blood pressure. Similar to antibiotics, it has bacteria growth inhibiting effects.

Chi Shao Yao - Radix Paeoniae Rubra
Chi shao yao is a very strong herb used in removing sludge (yu) in the blood

Mu Dan Pi - Cortex Moutan Radicis
An antiinflamatory,used primarily for treating inflammations and eruptions of the skin such as cold sores, acne, and rashes where the skin is not dry. For localized eruptions it can be applied externally. It can also be taken internally if the skin eruptions are widespread. Mu Dan Pi is also traditionally used to treat uterine cysts and endometriosis, which it may accomplish by blocking the effects of estrogen. This remedy has also been used in the treating of infected wounds, to drain away pus and reduce swelling and pain.

Burdock Root Seed -Fructus Arttii
Burdock root is an Alternative, diaphoretic and diuretic that is used traditionally to cleanse the blood and heal the kidneys and liver. It is one of the best blood purifiers known to traditional medicine.

Chastetree Berry - Fructus Viticis angi-casti
Well known for its hormonal balancing effects.

Jing Jie - Herba Schizsizonepetae
Expels winds and release toxin through sweating. For infection in boils and carbuncles. Stop bleeding. For early stages of measles and itchy skin eruptions.

Dandelion Root - Radix Taraxici
Digestive and hepatic tonic; cholagogue; diuretic; laxative; detoxifier, slightly aperient. Used for the treatment of various skin problems including acne.

Camomile - Flos Anthemis seu Matricariae
Contains terpenic derivatives, which have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. It also contains phenolic derivatives, which have an antiseptic and healing quality, which relieves congestion and softens the skin.
